Diljit Dosanjh Recreates Allu Arjun’s Iconic Dialogue From Pushpa 2 At Mumbai Concert: ‘Ye Jhukega Nahi…’

On Thursday (19 December 2024), Diljit Dosanjh rocked the Mumbai crowd with his electric performance. During his performance, Dosanjh addressed the advisory issued to him by the Maharashtra government, assuring fans that they would have a good time at his show. The singer is currently on his Dil-Luminati Tour, and has received multiple notices advising him not to sing songs about drugs and alcohol.

During the Mumbai show, Dosanjh said in Hindi, “This morning, I learned that another advisory has been issued against me. Don’t worry, all advisories are on me. I will make sure you have double the fun tonight. Tonight, I will start the event with a thought I had while doing Yoga. I am sure you all know about Sagar Manthan!”

Dosanjh said that, during Sagar Manthan, the amrit, or the holy nectar, was consumed by the Devtas while Shiva had the poison. However, he did not consume the poison, but kept it in his throat. The singer mentioned, “What I have learnt from this is no matter how much poison people want to throw at you, you should not take that inside. People will try to stop you, but you should never let that affect you or your work.” Dosanjh also gave a nod to Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 by enacting his signature move and saying, “Aaj jhukega nahi…”

Fans lauded Dosanjh’s positivity. One commented under Dosanjh’s video and wrote, “Diljit truly has an unmatched vibe! His positivity, humility, and energy make him stand out.” Another added, “I admire how you stay positive and spread positivity all around. Waheguru tuhanu chardikala vich rakhan, paaji.” One different fan wrote, “The one guy who only talks about positivity and positive changes.” Another added, “There is a reason why he is a gem of a person… respect and love.”

Before the show, Mumbai’s District Child Protection Officer sent a notice to Diljit Dosanjh, cautioning him against promoting alcohol and drug use. Later, Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights also sent him a notice, advising against calling children on stage during the show. After the show, Dosanjh took to Instagram to share glimpses of his performance and wrote, “I rise above your advice.”
